If you are using aftermarket brake pads such as EBC then probably yes.
It is the air from the cross drilled rotors getting trapped and then escaping.
Some people add more slots to the pads, some people bevel the leading edge of the pad with a file, if left alone it seems to reduce with age or you get used to it.
With EBC it seems worst with the organic or kevlar pad material, still there but not as bad with the sintered metal pads, I just ignore it.
