Going to replace front pads, what type should I go with? Any one type better or worse than another?

Best brake pads I have ever bought are the stock Honda (Nissin). The EBCs tend to be noisy and others seem to have less stopping power.

Another vote for Honda OEM pads. Assuming that you have a motorcycle and it’s a Honda.

EBC pads are noisier then OEM pads, with a buzz due to the slots in the pads causing trapped air in the cross drilled stock rotor.
I found this the worst with the Organic/Kevlar pads.
I like EBC Double-H Sintered Pads, the sintered pads are considerably better and more consistent repeat stoppers than the Honda pads with potentially more rotor wear, but to me the trade off is worth it.
