FYI....for old shadows my 86 vt1100 fuel pump relay died...I used the following unit to fix it ...

HONDA SHADOW SPIRIT VT600 750 VT750 VT1100 AERO FUEL PUMP RELAY FUEL CUT CBR VLX

the trick... buy a wire harness from the doner bike that has the right plug to attach to the pumprelay and splice onto your harness ...saves 60 bucks or more.

to explain ... you want to get the plug and wires 6 inches or more or less to use as splice material because the old unit is reverse plugged ...that is to say the female to male junction is opposite...

AND .. this has been working on my bike now for 4 months ... if this helps anyone please leave a comment or ?

I’m old school, when my fuel pump cut-off relay went bad, I bypassed it altogether as others have, been running this way for the last 30k miles
