So I call the Honda dealer today to confirm the price of a new tank for my 1993 shadow vex. The guy tells me a price of 695 and then tells me that that tank has been discontinued by Honda. O and a 93 tank was made to fit on a 93 no newer models will fit on a 93

Sounds like it may be cheaper to find one salvage or online, even if you have to sand it down and paint it.
