Somewhere in history this quote was heard, or something close anyhow ;)

ABATE of GA has been busy this week at our capitol...
Biker Day at the capitol was a success!
We fed our house and senate members and introduced them to our lobbyist...

Now it`s in your hands, Georgia Riders...

OK Georgia riders, we have the door open and good communication with both house and senate members...
We NOW NEED YOU!!

Contact your local legislators to discuss these bills with them...
Red Light Bill is being brought up for the 14th year...
Lane Filtering is New...
These two are LIFE SAVING measures for us the Georgia Motorcycle Riders, in that we can get ourselves out of harms way, IF passed...

The Handlebars law is too loosely written and needs to be reformed...
The Helmet Law is another that is written solely for revenue, there is NOTHING about SAFETY in the Law, merely a legal vise which costs you and me $$$

Discrimination at our expense is the Motorcycle ONLY Checkpoints funding...
We are asking stiffer fines in court for violating our right of way, and distracted and or impaired driving...

In a nutshell, ABATE has the door open, will YOU respond? OR just sit back and watch???

I have the legislation agenda handbook, in my procession ready to mail to YOU, or contact ABATE of GA through the link in my signature for more...

Most don`t care, until it`s TOO LATE!!!

Please, Georgia riders, HELP!!!

Praise God! Someone does!!!

Thank You!!!

I get discouraged when it comes to these topics which involve action being requested for legislation purposes...
What is it? 200,000 riders in GA and we only have less than 2,000 members fighting for our cause...

I watched the "views" numbers grow with no comment from our riders which are in our state... NOT ONE Comment???
NOT ONE person said Yes, I called or e mailed Not one said, I CARE!

Im thankful that we have people like you. I tend to be more of a "watcher" when it comes to rallying for or against laws. Life gets busy for me. Given the time, Im sure ill get more involved. But in the meantime, I appreciate those that fight for what I believe in.

Thank you, Captain!

A few Bills have numbers already;

SB-116 = Increase penalty for vehicular homicide
SB-407 = Handlebar revision
HB-869 = Red light Bill

Now is time to have a working relationship with senate and house members, do You?

A few Bills have numbers already;

SB-116 = Increase penalty for vehicular homicide
SB-407 = Handlebar revision
HB-869 = Red light Bill
Those are the numbers for the bills during the 2013-2014 session. If a bill doesn't pass and is reintroduced the following session, it gets a new number.

HB-166 for this session addresses both the red light bill and handlebars -
HB*166*2015-2016 Regular Session

SB-76 is virtually the same bill as far as red lights go, but doesn't address handlebars -
http://www.legis.ga.gov/Legislation/...20152016/SB/76

HB-166 has had 1st and 2nd readings in the House, and has been referred to the Committee on Public Safety & Homeland Security. SB-76 has had 1st reading in the Senate, and is also currently in Committee.

Nothing new motorcycle related was introduced today.
