A friend of mine at work bought me a bell over the weekend for my bike. She bought a Sportster a few weeks ago and bought a bell right away. I told her that I was planning on getting a bell soon and she went out and bought me one.

That is awesome. I remember Lisa gave several of us bells at Xmas time. It was special because it was my first one. So far it has worked as I haven't went down and its kept the gremlins away.

Your first bell is always special.

Buy one to keep in your pocket for friends. Lost my old one to the road gods or a pothole. My buddy Bob was to the rescue with his extra. Never buy one for yourself. JUJU don't work that way. It has to be a gift.

When I took my bike in to the shop, some guy was there onhis overdressed goldwing trike. He was mocking my bell.

I probably should have thrashed him for it.

Looked at this site. It says that the experiance of the gift giver makes the bell stronger. Well my new bell was gifted to my friend by another friend. Ray has 35yrs of road riding time and Bob has 26yrs road riding time. Must be a very strong bell.
