Well, the long-hard-road has been traveled and I made my way through commencement this weekend. I have officially, unofficially, graduated with a BA in Organizational Behavior with Minors in Psychology & Management from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.

WARNING - THE STREETS OF DULUTH ARE NOT MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY!!!

Duluth's "Brine Solution" to melt the ice on the streets...it's terrible! Like ice skating on snot. For our West Coast members, like rollerblading on grease.

The ceremony went very well and I'm really proud to say I completed my degree just after my mother's 70th birthday, my brother was able to bring her up to see me walk through, and my niece expressed sincere interest in coming up to visit this spring/summer - when it's warmer!

The USCG icebreaker Katmai Bay was docked this weekend and it gives a good example of just how horribly cold Gichigami (Ojibwe for Lake Superior) is during the winter.
