Wait till they come down again in price. They usually have it on sale for 299.99 quite a few times during the year. Then use a 25% off coupon and get it down to $225. You will need a better front chock then the one that comes with the lift to secure your bike.

i love mine it paid for itself vary fast you do need a new front wheel chalk the one that comes with it is junk. harbor freight sells a couple different ones i went with this one Motorcycle Wheel Chock and then after realizing that i had to completely lift the bike over top of it to remove front wheels it went back and i now have this one Motorcycle Stand / Wheel Chock what i like about this one is the fact that the front can come off with a pin so the remove front wheels you only need to jack the bike up a little bit unpin the front wheel stop and the wheel can come out. i like it so much i use one on my trailer. the next thing i did was eyelets the ones they give you with the lift are a joke i bought some 1/2'' eyelets at home depot 6 of them and drilled holes in the front and rear and bolted them in much safer IMHO. also buy some jack oil it doesn't come full. also no need to buy the warranty nothing but the jack can fail and you can pretty much use any bottle jack. hope that helps. i also recommend getting one of these as well to aid in the repairs.
i really like how the rear of the lift has a door that comes off.

heres some pictures of mine in action

do get the warranty!! my first one had a poor hydraulic linkage, they exchanged it no question asked. the second one is great, yes get a drive on wheel chock and do use tie downs... makes a great table at 2nd position when the bikes not on it.

JK, great information and pics! I've been thinking about getting one and they are on sale now through the end of the month. I have not been able to catch them when they get to $299, nor see an additional 25% coupon. That's never my luck, haha. We'll see.
