Hi everyone, came on here looking for some guidance regarding my new bike! First cruiser for me, been riding enduro/dual sport for a long time. Pics below of my new bike, low milage (38km / 23.5mi), from the original owner, and got it for really cheap (family friend).

Hi Eric, thank you for the warm welcome. I was hoping to find info on a couple topics, figured there would be some experienced folks around here that could help =)

1. Identification of the trim level for the model: VIN plate is stamped with Model VT750CD3 not sure which package this is. I've seen Ace, Aero, Sprit, Phantom, so not sure what category this falls into, or maybe it is just a base model...

2. Tank Restoration: The tank has a dent on the opposite side, the owner put the bullet hole sticker on the dent, and then mirrored it on the other side so it was symmetrical. Not sure how I should go about fixing the tank, because I want to pull those stickers off haha.

3. Specific Maintenance Items: Other than the typical greasing bearings, adjusting cables and whatnot; I was wondering if there are any items to specifically pay attention to.

Have you ever checked out the Paintless Dent Repair guys?
They can do wonders making a dent disappear.

Other than obvious fuel, oil/filter, brake fluid, coolant, battery condition, you may want to check date on tires.

I think in '98 Honda only made the 750 in the A.C.E. model. (American Classic Edition)

The wide beach style handlebars and the big fenders are part of the A.C.E. styling.

I'm not sure but I had a fella tell me once to fill the tank with water and freeze it and it'll push the dent out?? Never tried

Now THAT is an interesting repair !

Here is another way if the dent is not too deep or metal kinked badly.
Even the dent repair guys use a version of this.

Hey everyone, apologies for the delay here, thank you to everyone who replied!

The glue dent puller looked so promising until he pulled an entire paint chip off lmao might be something to consider!

I've been trolling the mechanical fourms, lots to take in around here.
