I need help picking out a summer jacket. My wife said she would buy me a summer riding jacket for my birthday. I can go up to $150. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Another vote for the Tourmaster Intake. Very warm with the linings in and a good summer jacket with the linings removed.Towmoter said:This is a good jacket, I tested by skidding 80 yards in it down the road after a highside and then a goldwing sliding on top of me too. It worked great. Riding with it in the summer is OK and the liner will carry you into winter. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/item.aspx?style=21318&department=112&division=1
Third vote, I got and older version of this for my husband a couple years ago after buying the women's for myselfbigred1 said:
I am 6'3" 240lbs and a 35" sleeve I have the Tourmaster Intake and love it. I have the tall and standing and walking around the sleeves are a little long although you have a velcro srap holding them tight. I tried on the regular and it felt good standing in the store. How the answer to your question. When you are on the bike the tall size fits perfect because your arms are extended more than they are standing. Also the tail stays down where the regular might come up over your belt, but the tall., buy the tall, buy the tall.CBOLLING said:Those of you that have the Tour Master Intake jacket did you get the regular or the tall? I am 6'1" 200 lbs with pretty long arms.
