Welcoms aboard. If you got a Shadow, its a V-twin motor.

Welcome Jim. Love your ride, SURE you will too.

This is the most wonderful of biker forums. Get to know some folk, read lots, post lots and it will go a long way to enhance your biking experience, but of course, don’t be on here at the expense of saddle time.

Cheers 8)

Is it me or is it Newbee season?

OK you, get back into cyberspace and don't come out until you have read the owners manual and the last five years worth of Red Rider magazine and whatever you do, don't come back on here and ask what oil you should be using or how to winterize your 5 cylinder bike! LOL

Jim,
You probably think it's a three cylinder because you can see three sparkplug wires. Look a little harder and you will find your bike has four sparkplugs.
No, it's not a four cylinder either! Two plugs per cylinder makes it a V-Twin!

thunderglass gave you a good tip: "Go back a read your owners manual about 5 times"
