The one hose you refured to that didnt go anywhere should be the dotn remeber the name, but it comes off the T snd it just routes down the carbs and doesnt plug into anything, a vent of sort.

One thing I found when doing mine was the tubes that connect the carb to the motor, take the left one off from the carb and the right one off of the motor, (made it easier to pull the carbs out) and putting them back in was easier also,

I used some grease around the fittings of the air box,

about the 4th time pulling mine out, I disconected the fuel line from close to the key, I think it was by the filter, then pulled the line out with the carb so I didnt have to try working in 1/2 inch space.
