So the bike been running for while no issues i rejetted the carb new exhaust and all that re painted my tank put it all back together and it was running fine then one day walked out started it up went inside while it warmed up then when i came out it was off. So in short it starts as long as i am giving it a little throttle but soon i let off it shuts off, any ideas?

Anyone mess with your idle speed adjustment thumb-wheel (kids, neighbor or co-worker who like to play practical jokes).
Next issue would be a small vacuum leak around the carb boots.
If it was running well for a reasonable amount of time after painting the tank then I would assume the fuel tank vent hose would not be pinched or the vent tube going into the tank was not plugged with paint.

How does it do with less choke instead of more throttle? How is the Battery?
