Hi, I am a new member, apologies if this thread is in the wrong section. Back in 2007, I owned a Shadow VT750 American Classic Edition. It was cream/black color. I believe it was a 1999 model. This bike was SHAFT DRIVE.
I was living in Cyprus, EU. and the bike was probably imported at sometime. I had to sell the bike when I left Cyprus and moved to the Philippines. I have recently returned to Cyprus and I would like to buy another Shadow. I am unable to find another A.C.E that has shaft drive?? There are plenty of Shadows around, but they are all Chain drive. From reading this site, I have heard that the A.C.E came out in 1998 to 2003 and that they were chain drive, until it was replaced by the Shadow 750 "Aero", which had shaft. So how did I have a shaft drive American Classic 1999 model?? I'm still looking!
