Hook a brother up! Can I borrow someones mailing address?

Hey Kids,

I need to get some new mounting hardware from Saddleman for my saddlebags. The problem is, they ship UPS. Now I don't know if any of my American friends know this, but UPS charges HORRENDOUS brokerage fees when a package crosses the border. I've seen upwards of $50 being charged. I don't think it'll be as bad due to low cost of the items, but I don't know if I'm willing to risk it.

Okay, so what I'd like to do, is try to get it shipped to a US address, then get it mailed to me. I'd more than happily cover the fees for mailing it (can't be worse than brokerage!). Anyone willing to help out?

Thanks.

I'd help you out, but I have a slightly worse version of the problem. Ramstein AB. No UPS at all. :p
Sniper,
did you ask them to ship via USPS?
There were a few times where I got stuff from the US and they stated they will ship via UPS only.
I contacted them saying that i will only buy if they Ship USPS.
In 90% of cases they agreed.
BTW - you're right, UPS brokerage charges are absolutely criminal
