Hey, how about Dee, any word on him lately?
I've been to the gap twice now, both times in 1st gen RX7's. I'm taking my shadow to the gap on my birthday 4-16. Taking the trip alone though, as i like to do what i want to when and how i want to lol but that picture you posted angers me. I know that road pretty well, i NEVER cross the center line in a CAR because of people on bikes. Bike riders should do the same and NEVER cross the center line. Sorry, but crossing the center line in a bike or a car, while im in a bike or a car, angers me. Especially on US129Getting closer...
Got lots to do b4 then though. Bike needs a few little things handled by then, no biggie.
Here is a pic from last time Canyon and I were there.
Would I ride like this with anyone, nope, Canyon is one of maybe 2 people I would ever consider this with, yes we were above posted speed limit I'm betting, but it never was unsafe feeling! He's got skills and knows me and my level too.
Date of pic, 4-3-13. Next time we ride it, 4-3-15, we need to play lottery!

Looks like his on the right line of the two, not across them.I've been to the gap twice now, both times in 1st gen RX7's. I'm taking my shadow to the gap on my birthday 4-16. Hey little buddy did your supervisor give the "green light" on you getting to meet the guys at the Dragon????Looks like his on the right line of the two, not across them.
yeah, his front tire. The bars, mirrors, fairing thing, etc is all over the line. what if a car was coming the other way? what if a motorcycle was coming the other way, not crossed the line but "on the right line of the two". Its a public road, be smart about it. Everyone goes there ride spirited, exceed speed limits, have fun, etc. Stay on your side of the road. Death isn't fun I'd have to guess.Looks like his on the right line of the two, not across them.
I'm guessing if a car was coming from the other way, he wouldn't be riding there.what if a car was coming the other way?
My supervisor? I don't have a supervisor that I'm aware of. And I generally don't tell Nick what I'm doing...works better that way.Hey little buddy did your supervisor give the "green light" on you getting to meet the guys at the Dragon????
you goin' or not?
oh ok, i wish i was closer and could go.My supervisor? I don't have a supervisor that I'm aware of. And I generally don't tell Nick what I'm doing...works better that way.
I'm waiting on an email back from my secretary on one more meeting, but as of now, it looks like I'm going.
May go buy a GoPro 3+ for the trip.
Yo!oh ok, i wish i was closer and could go.
Looking forword to finally getting to see a clear full picture of you to put a face with the name...There are pics of me on here...just not many.
i'm sure you've seen the pics of me i have posted over the years.
Tires, lets talk tires. You're still running on the plugged rear tire i imagine,
how's it holding up? Losing any Air compared to the front???? Holding air like a champ. I've had no issues with it over about 2000 miles now.
Although my gut instinct tells me you won't be going on the mini-dragon trip Why wouldn't I go? It's a short trip at just over 300 miles one way.
i still hope you do.. and if you do I think you should get that GoPro and get some practice in with it leading up to Sturgis.
Keeping my eye on you little buddy, you come across like a "mover and shaker"
