I went to State Farm insurance the other day and they entered the model 2007 VT750DC into their computers, but there was a list, each with VT750DCA or VT750DCB, etc. So, for my '07 black VT750DC, is it an A, B, or what? I'm quite sure it has something to do with what color, but I don't know which letter represents a certain paint scheme. Also, would price of insurance differ based on what color paint the motorcycle has? Answers would be greatly appreciated.

Car insurance is modified by colour not sure about bikes. Check the VIN on your bike, should be able to search on that to find out.

Allstate had no Problem giving me my $138 A yr ins with the Title in my hand and a full coverage policy to Boot.

Might have to do with the graphics on your tank.

A = plain paint
B = w/graphics added.

Your title should have the correct designation. If not, look under your side coves for the paint code.

I just switched to progressive.. @ $149 a year with an extra $3000 in extra's coverage added on... and roadside assist.... better than my old Metlife.
