Ordered an ignitech cdi (under $200 with sipping) for my 87 vt1100c. It got here in about three weeks. I did not order the adjustable model. Fires very well low end improved significantly. Cruising city, rural and interstate is good. Apparently if you send ignitech pics and numbers along with year and model they can make your cdi. I'm pleased. EZ fix for a difficult situation.

I'm thinking about getting an adjustable one form them. Did you price the adjustable unit?

Cool! Good to know. I've been curious about ordering from them but it seems so sketchy when you poke around their Czech website.

Go to ignitech.cz. They have an English option. Also there is a price list. I think the adjustable unit is around $40 more and the same shopping cost as the standard unit. From what I've read the adjustable had a lead Orr a port to connect to a laptop. The curve is changed by using the mouse pointer to alter the advance curve shown on screen rather than preset settings like the dyna. Very kool.
