Glad you found the problem, I would love to see what kind of switch you used and where you mounted it and how you're keeping it water tight, post some pics.

I looked at using something like that but was worried it wasn't water proof and that its only a STSP switch. How did you wire it without getting feedback when you use your turnsignals, I would think if you wired both turn signals to one terminal both your signals would flash when you turned on a turnsignal. don't you need to isolate the left and right turnsignal wires from eachother?

I put a second flasher in. I think you can put a diode on the stock black/brown wire and use one since the gray wire only supplies power to the turn signal switch which is directed when the signal is turned on. I think that is what the diodes are for, so the voltage doesnt go back thru the switch or each other.
