I bought 6 NGK IridiumDPR7EIX-9 for my Valk from Advance Auto parts priced @ 6.59 each or. Used code 'TRT30' at checkout to get 30% off the entire order. In addition, advance auto has a current promotion for a $10 mail-in-rebate when you purchase 4 or more NGK Iridium plugs. Bottomline I got all 6 Iridium plugs for less than $20.

So if a single plug is $5.60, why is a 4-pack $31.99? (Yeah, I know you can't answer that.)

$6.59/ea online from Advance Auto right now for my zip code. (That's BEFORE big poppa's discount code or rebate.)
I paid less then $20 shipped for mine from Amazon in 2013. Just wanted to point out that there are deals to be had out there.

How did you get the $10 mail in rebate? I'm on the website and applied the promo code to get the discount but no prompt for for rebate.

Bought a set and installed them in my Virago. Many people like them but my Virago started & ran better with standard NGK plugs.
Many people think iridium plugs have some kind of magic inside that makes vehicles run better, faster and stronger. Fact is, the only reason to go to iridiums is to get longer plug life and fewer replacements.

Possibly, but then that thinking is flawed when so many people barely put 300 miles a year on their bike. At that rate the plugs would wear out in approx 333.33 years.

This is exactly why I think those expensive plugs aren't that great of an investment. I ride about 7000 miles a year and I just use the regular set of 4 for $13. I check them occasionally and have yet to run into any issues.
