I think this pretty much says it all

7500 miles across America on a Honda Rebel 250

People walk across the US too

Heard stories of a few people using a 250 to get from one side of the country to the other.. and.. more power to them. But.. Me? Personally?? ..I would prefer a little more comfort, a little more legroom, and little more storage than is usually available on bikes of that size..

Saw a guy burning up the interstate miles on a little old scoot one time .. Had his legs splayed wide open and to the sides of his bike - just trying his best to stretch them a little.. He was either doing that or all hunched over his handlebars trying to cut down the wind..

Poor fella.. didn't look comfortable at all.. :sad:

A windshield would have taken care of one thing.. And HUGE Touring bike would have taken care of the rest.. :lol:

I don't know tho'.. If I had nothing else, I would be doing the same thing, myself.

I plan to at least do a 1000 mile trip this year on my Fury, assuming i can get that much time off of work lol.
