I believe they all are a 3 digit code.

I agree on the 3 digits. Do you have at least 1 key? When I bought my bike it only came with one key and I wanted a back up. I found a Honda blank online that looked simialar so I took the chance and bought it for cheap $$. When it came in I compared it some more then brought it to a local key cutter. It works perfect and now I have the backup key!

Don't know what year the OP's bike was, but on my 2005 Sabre it is a 6 character code, 1 number, 3 letters and 2 numbers. Also on my bike the key code is on the backside of the gas cap. There are folks online that you can provide the code to and they will cut a matching key. I paid $30.00 for 2 last April, verified key code with them. Both keys work all of the locks on the bike, Steering, helmet, gas cap & ignition with no problems.
