Love the solo look and have been checking out CL for a cheap one, unfortunatly accesories for the spirit vt750c2 don't come around that often. Will a 2001 shadow 1100 fit my bike?

Rarely in this configuration, I think it looks great but is not practical.
The sissy bar, back seat, luggage rack allow me to use a sissy bar bag, or strap on anything that won't fit in the saddlebags.
Besides, I hang my helmet on the sissy bar when I need to.

My shadow is still set for dual riding but my road king is solo.

Always loved the solo look. Mom does not really care to ride with us, so the solo thing works fine.

Always was solo on the Shadow. As soon as I can afford this Corbin smuggler the back seat is gone on the FJR too.
