Wheel Tire Vehicle Automotive tail & brake light Fuel tank

I recently added this light bar. It is a Custom Dynamics lightbar for a Harley that I found on Revzilla. To mount it on my Shadow I had to get creative. The bracket is a chrome license plate bracket. I had to grind away some material to allow room for the center post. But otherwise the bolts for the headlight bracket fit fine.

I also did the wiring for a USB charger. It seems to all work.

I tapped into the low beam lights and bought the wiring harness in addition. The wiring harness actually cost a little more than the light bar. The advantage is that it has a switch on it. So I can turn the light bar on and off. I figure that I won’t need it most of the time, as I usually am riding during the day.

I have seen pictures of other VT1100s with the turn signals up on the bars and thought it was a custom mount, but I have narrowed it down to 1987 models and maybe more, that it seems the factory put them up there.
Even on the cover of the Clymer manual.

Is that correct?
You are correct. The turn signals are mounted on the handlebars. It is a 1987 VT1100.
