Hi all,
I bought a 1994 Honda Magna and the old owner lost the key. The bike hasn't been used in 25 years. Any idea what the easiest way to get a key made is?

I've tried removing the ignition but it has security breakaway bolts which aren't easy to remove. Also, the helmet holder lock cylinder isn't easy to remove. Don't know of any tricks for the gas cap lock either.

Please help.
Thanks

A good locksmith can make you a key.
This.

The tumbler system inside a Honda lock is super basic, be it a disc detainer or a pin and tumbler it shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes for a competent locksmith to work out your pinning and cut a key, if they can’t do it you got the wrong guy, this is very basic locksmith job.

Edit: Also, a really well equipped Honda Powersports dealer may be able to cut you a key from a VIN. Call around, if they stock the key blanks they usually have the ability to cut the key.
