Gotta mark my calendar from now on, not sure if I'll make the 5th.
From where I live, that would be a nice ride.
I live on the shore of Lake Michigan.

Believe it or not, I take off for The Slimey Crud Run at 5:00AM !:wink2:

I like to stop at The Casino (Ho-Chunk) before going to The Slimey Crud Run.0:)

Actually , I usually find myself heading home around Noon.

Most bikes start arriving around 9:00AM, by Noon I`ve seen most bike`s, but they keep coming long past Noon!

If you`re there at 9:00AM, you get see the Parade of Bikes arriving!!!!!!!!!:surprise::shock:

Not an event, just a little ride report.

Yesterday I went for a ride north of Madison in the Baraboo,WI. area.

Hwy 113 between Lodi and Baraboo is really a nice ride. And taking The Merrimac Ferry across Lake Wisconsin at sunrise was a bonus. If you ever have a chance to be in the area, Take The Merrimac Ferry across Lake Wisconsin. I rode around and through Devils Lake State Park twice.

I try to make this trip at least twice a year, once in late Spring and again in the Autumn.

Stopping at The Casino is sometimes a good idea :smile2:...............sometimes not so good.:crying:

Took a nice ride to the Monroe / New Glarus Wisconsin area recently. I took all the side roads to get there. Takes a lot longer, but sure beats riding the Interstate!
I left early, so from Brew City, I was riding through Whitewater at sunrise!
Had a Swiss Cheese on Rye with a Bock beer for breakfast at Baumgartners in Monroe,WI.
Having a Swiss on Rye and a Bock at 8:00AM gives you a whole new way of looking at the day.
I put a small cooler and ice pack in my saddle bags so I could stop at the Alp and Dell and bring some Cheese and sausage home with me.
Both Monroe and New Glarus are too "touristy" on the weekends, but fine early in the morning on weekdays.
Here`s a few pics............
