I am making this thread to talk about and document the fun I have with my 2004 Honda Aero Maryann

Tire Wheel Fuel tank Automotive fuel system Vehicle

This is how I found her

I took the windshield off first ...coz well the wind in the face thing ya know

gave her a oil change
and polished chrome then I polished chrome then I polished more chrome
did I mention these bikes have a lot of chrome

Ordered a passing light kit, hated the lights. Found lights off a Yamaha star something.
I cobbled together a light bar that works and looks good

gas was leaking from the petcock so I ordered one from the big river place
it came and I was bummed the hose connection is on the front of the new one
so a longer chunk of fuel line and setting it sideways (so the valve is forward ) fixed that
$219 from the Honda steelership ....right 26 bucks off of the on line

I took the back rest off... so girls have to hang on to me

now the windshield is going back on
coz cold wind in the face
just til the weather warms

type to ya later when I do more

I have considered taking the backrest off of mine, too. I never have riders. And it's an uncomfortable stretch to get on and off the bike. May need to do some stretching?

Great looking find!

I never ride 2 up so I removed the back rest, then the pillion seat. Ended up getting a rear fender cover that pretty much matched my saddle bags.

That cb is a good looking bike. I love the single scallop paint on the tank.

well that time is here
the time that we put our bikes away for the winter in the Pac NW
the Maryann is snuggled down with a full tank and empty carb
Char the CB750C has yet to been put down ... I still have some work to do on her

I get kinda down this time of year... how about you?
do you get bummed when ya gota put yer bike away for the winter ?

the scallop isn't just in the paint,
there is a dent in the tank that makes the it comfortable to grip with your knees :giggle:

this bike is better then the CB750F I had
lighter, smaller, and better looking

The Suzuki 80 was my gateway drug too a K15 Hillbilly in my case.
I'm in SW Ontario, Canada, with the changeable weather here my bike isn't put away until the salt trucks come out.
One year I managed Christmas eve last minute shopping on it, last year it was put away about now, I'm alway wishing for a green Christmas. (-:
