My Shadow RS has chain drive and no centerstand.
I wanted to use a lift to get the rear wheel off the ground when I want to lube the chain, but I noticed that the engine protrudes below the frame a little. I can't use a wheel stand because the bike has that rod under the swingarm for the rear brake. Is there a jack that will work in this case?

several, but adapters needed, what I do is use my floor jack on the frame just ahead of the rear wheel, I put a 2x6 under the kickstand, barely lifting the rear wheel. Once lifted, shift to neutral and lube away.

i use the sears three wheel alloy bike lift.
it's a bit more expensive, but does the job for me - and it is (beside the most expensive and the lowest) the lightest one you can get
