I have the same apprehension about this as the Skully. It looks like a great idea, but if it's an $800 jacket that is destroyed when you fall over sideways on a slow turn, you're out an $800 jacket that did NOTHING to protect you. If it's a well-made jacket first & foremost, PLUS it has brake-turn signals built in, and it sells for an appropriate price - THAT'S GREAT!

I don't know if any riding jacket is worth $800.00. Lights in helmets, lights in jackets? Like riding down the road looking like a human glow stick.

Nope... That's just "nope" in general on this kinda thing..

People are conditioned to look at the tail-lights or hand signals for indication of what a vehicle is planning to do.. You distract from those with something people have never seen before, they are likely gonna be entertained - but they may or may not realize that those flashing arrows on a jacket or helmet actually means something..

They are gonna be as likely as to rear-end you thinking "What's that? Hm..How Cool" over "Oh, he's stopping" ..That kinda thing..

It's just conditioning is all.. We all know where our own eyes rest to get an idea of what a vehicle is going to do.. We get distracted from that - even for a second - if there's added confusion along with that distraction, bad things can happen..

Like I say.. For me? ...Nope..

I ride 2-up most of the time. Makes a larger profile!
And with a passenger on board it would make that jacket's features useless unless the passenger was wearing one instead. Naw, it ain't going to pass on the market, but would be fun to see a wide body male with one on and his small petite passenger with one on also with all 4 arrows flashing away at a stop.

Remember the movie "Electric Horseman" ?
Just a few more lights would do it.
