Moved the turn signals, need to cover old mounts.

I bought a couple round red bike reflectors (approx. 1 1/4" diameter) with the screw mount on the back and installed them through the holes. Got them on ebay for very little cost. Can't see much of them with the Saddleman saddlebags unless you are looking down on the saddlebags but they covered the empty holes well.

Thanks for the idea. As soon as I hit enter, the idea of a christmas tree plug popped in my head. I don't know if I can find one large enough. I'll see what reflectors I can find.

I replaced mine with LED minis. Unfortunately the stalks on them were thinner than the stock ones. I spray painted a couple washers and it worked great. Washers filled the holes perfectly and the holes in the washers were the right size for the new light stalks. Cost me .50 since I was painting other things and already had the krylon.

I am unfamiliar with your model & the mounts you wish to "hide"...
However, I do some "hiding" with color coordinated tape over holes...
LLLL bring it over, we`ll install those saddlebags, AND hide the holes too

You could use a combination of chrome washers with chrome caps (license plate bolt covers) or chrome acorn nuts.

Chrome drawer pulls. They double as bungee cord attach points. Hide behind my bags real well.

I mounted some LED lights for extra turn signals that just fit between the bag and strut. Very similar to these But mine are Red lens

And the hits just keep coming. I really like the drawer pull idea. I don't have a rear seat, so will probably add a rack to the rear fender. The extra hooks would provide options. I like options.

The Anchor kit looks great also, but I think the studs would be too long to fit under the fender rail.

Nah, that won't be good on an Aero, the spot the OEM rear signals mount to are on the side rail cover, a portion that overhangs the frame in the back,
so it would be strapping to a thin cover.

Why not use chrome hole plugs or covers. You can find them at most of your local hardware or home improvement stores. Shop Hole Plugs at Lowes.com

When i changed the rear signals to the Kury Mini Chrome Bullets there
were two holes left by the old signal and a slight recess in the cover (for the old signal) much larger than required for the new signals.

I went to Ace hardware are found two chrome washers and two stainless steel washers (for the inside).
I brought one of the side rail covers in with me and found washers that "filled" the entire round "recess area (you'll see what i mean when you look at your side rail) while leaving a hole to fit the new signals, use the stainless washer on the inside surface of the rail cover.

in your case you could do the same thing except instead of installing a signal, install a license plate bolt (or slightly shorter bolt) and nut and use a chrome cover over the bolt head (common, i have a bunch i a drawer).

I really liked the idea of creating attachment points for bungee straps. But after taking a closer look, I have to agree with Bobolto, it does not look strong enough for that purpose. I guess I was hoping some company had a plug and play ready to pop in. After searching my warehouse I found some stainless washers and short button head socket caps that will fill the space. Now onto those new Viking bags.

Bobolto, I will post pics. However I have to wait until I can swap out the bags I got for Christmas. Viking bags sent me two damaged bags. One was dented at the rear dovetail. The other had rusty hardware and the lid did not close well. Looked like they regifted two returns, just to get them out in time for Christmas. I didn't open them till I was ready to install, this past weekend. Hopefully they won't give me any grief.
