I've been thinkin about getting the vintage wide touring seat. I was wondering if they fit securely on the bike....I have a 2002 Sabre. On their website it says side mounting bolts are not used with one piece seats. It says all you do is ingauge the nose tab into the receiver at the base of the gas tank and secure with stock acorn nut on your rear fender. Before I spend the $$ I was wanting to know if they mount real good onto the bike without moving/shifting while riding.....

Thanks! Sabrejim

I had one on my VLX and it mounted using the Stock seat bolts. and mounts with the stock seat bolts. Mine required a little mod bending the anchors a little to get a tight fit. Other than that.... Always good and tight!!

If your not in a hurry keep checking E-Bay. I got mine this past December for $400.00. Through Mustang the seat lists for $649.00
It has the driver's backrest, a skirt with braided edge trim, chrome studs, and leather tied conchos.

It is very solid on the bike!
