Here's a pic of my first bike(scooter) Cushman Eagle, when I was 15 in '63...got me around and to school etc. I know not a Honda but when it's a gift from your parents you can't be choosey...lol.

glennc,
I rode a Cushman Super Eagle to school starting in the eighth grade. I got it after my older brother ran off and joined the Air Force.
A friend had a James. Another guy had a Servicar. The older guys had Triumphs, Harleys, and BSAs. All I had was that Cushman until I was old enough to get a drivers license.

My love of motorcycles began as a kid clinging to my dad on the back of his cushman scooter like the one pictured here link. I couldl hardly wait until I was old enough to ride it myself. Unfortunately, I only got to ride it a few times before dad sold it. I sure wish I had it today.

A friend of mine even had an Allstate 250 in the mid '60's.

My first "bike" ('69) was a purple chopper style mini-bike with a 4 HP Tecumseh engine. After a short time of "abuse", the chain wouldn't stay tight

So I eventually ('70) "upgarded" to a green Honda Trail 70 - woo hoo!
Then ('72) a Yamaha Enduro 125 with electric start!
Then ('02) a Yamaha Maxim 750, inline 4 - wow @ the pickup, cornering, and speed!
Then ('05) my "dream baby" - a '97 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100, which my wife refers to as the "love of my life"

She's wrong by the way, it's her, then the child, then the bike..., but on a sunny day after too many days of not riding and too much stress, the order does shift a little

Ride safe and happy memories...

My first bike was a Rupp mini bike. I learned allot on that thing despite getting a ticket for riding on the road ( and they impounded the bike too ).

My second was a Kaw 100 dirt bike that got me 3 more tickets and another impoundment. The Third a Kaw 125 and the fourth a Honda 350. Then a Yamaha Virago ( also known as a Viagra 535 ) and now the Ace.

Next bike ? Who knows.....:)

ummm, first road bike I had was actually a 250cc two stroke Yamaha Enduro.( 70 somethings???)

I got it as a tip while delivering pizza. never ran right, no brakes, a "redneck reengineered" throttle and dry rot tires. I got it working a few times but kept it onthe grass in the back yard due to the lack of brakes. This was 8 years ago

first motorbike I rode ever was a minibike as a youth.
