This is a thread about my progress on my bike works.

List of Changes and pics.
First job was change the BendiT, Was wrong and i changed from a Honda Transalp (both have identical Bendit.)
After that i quit the Back Box in the rear part.
i find a triple tree from an vt600 from 1992. Has same size that mines old triple tree stock from my vt800 and im going to swap them. In middle im going to change the start contact at triple tree on top, for another place between gas tank and body frame.
im changing the exhaust too and rezising and recover the seats for a more slim aspect.

Well. a few days after and a lot of work by the way.
Some little problems swapping the triple tree with mine Vt800:
1-The axis is not same, must use the axis from mine vt800 triple tree and welded to the vt600 triple tree.ñ

2.-the wheel axis is different, Mine is 15mm and now with the cange with the vt600 triple tree my front is 1.5 cm wider.,must put a longer axis or somes spacers in the wheel axis.

3- i can use my own frontal lights, but must be adapted to the new clamps for the triple tree. (a bit of imagination and is done)

I finally get the way to recolocate my start engine and contact key under the gas tak to the frame.

Well,. few days after and many works, specially electrician, (a lot of wiring to coennect) her is the progress on bike.

I change stock triple tree from my VT800 for the triple tree from VT600 1988.
Aome minor changes in brakes rotor and caliper (only in fixations), more simple was colocate the frontal flare (cause use the bracket from triple tree from VY699, and is not equal for my bike) and new smooth air flex in bars,a recolocation of ignition and speedometer and tachometer and coennect al wires. the fron is awsome now, and is a few more higher front.

Finally for recolocate ignition switch, i used the same place for all, ring, speedo and ignition in all-in-one mod using the frame same point for it.

-At momment, all the wire and indicators are working fine, but still have to make a better site to place it. But this is tha main idea i have)-

Soon more mods comming, have reholsterd the seat, lower the back and paint the bike.

Well im still working on it, but here you are more pics.
Some changes from stock bike. dstill unfinished.

Well done!

Honda Shadows offer a great reliable base for customization to suit personal wishes and your bike is a prime example of how this can be done.
I have to agree with Chuck_Michigan, two thumbs up from me.

I have the same bike. Where did you get forward controls?? Been looking for a long time. Mark
I was going to ask the same thing as well :) You show a couple of shots of making the brake control but there's precious little on the gear lever. Something pre-made from another bike modified to suit I assume, but what? I'd love to slip my pegs forward a bit!

Hello, You are almost right. For fixing the forward controls i made a plates from metal hardware to assembly the controls to the frame. At same time, i changed the bolts for them to fixed, and for last, i used a Falcon Forward Controls set that i purchase from internet.
At the gear lever, i just conected a small piece from a VT600 for the same thing,
Hope this help.
If you have more question, maybe you can mark the objetcs in pics and i can be more specific.

Greetings all folks!

PD. im still working on the bike, as soon as posible i will upload pics.

Hello all!
Finally and with some works unespecteds, i almost did all things i wanted for my bike.
New mods and things installed:
Hypercharger
Exhaust turn out with baffles
Recolocate speddometer and etc. Cables lines etc etc
New handlebar and controls, housings etc.
New side plates with lights
Progressive shocks 11" in the rear.
And a new paint job by myself (just to feel if is good the choice)
At the moment thats all. (except my idea for swaping the swing arm and maybe if possible install a rear tire about 200mm, i know, every one says is imposible, as they said about install the hypercharger and the rest but they are on the bike! )
Here you are a few pics about the last mods and a video for see it working.

VT 800 Hypercharger and Mods
