Get a good well vented jacket, keeps the sun off, has protection if you fall and plenty of wind passing through..

Sun burn is a real issue in NZ as well, I still wear light long sleeved shirts when out fishing to save from getting burnt

Hey Leathel, good to see someone else from my side of the planet is on the forum. It must be nice riding around N.Z. All those mountains and winding roads. It's pretty flat around Bundaberg, I have to ride for a couple of hours to find a decent hill. Nice job on the bike too.

Yup plenty of prime roads to ride right on my door step, we often do after work rides, can do 200 K's in a night and not get on a main road, all back roads like this
