enjoy your ride in the Sun. & welcome aboard.
That's funny....you're the same guy that posted about winterizing your VLX for the first time. That post popped up just after this one.Speaking of Hondas... Spent the day making sure my vlx was in good shape after the three weeks of rain we got in Northern Cali. Everything looks good, just in time for 10 days of sunshine
Just can't make up his mind. That's funny....you're the same guy that posted about winterizing your VLX for the first time. That post popped up just after this one.
So, you riding or winterizing? Or BS-ing?
Maybe....I just think it odd that there would be a need to winterize out in the Chico, CA area.....the night time low temps are cold, but above freezing, and the daytime temps are 50+ minimum in Jan / Feb. They go up from there.Just can't make up his mind.
I did ask about winterizing, however, Cali weather decided to not make it necessary. Go figure. You want to talk about semantics or about getting a bike rollin? That's funny....you're the same guy that posted about winterizing your VLX for the first time. That post popped up just after this one.

I'm also not the person that decided new members had to create three apparently meaningless messages before we could ask members about serious bike questions. Yup, I wanted to winterize my bike to keep it in good condition and asked for advice, then California weather decided to brighten up so I've been riding it and looking at issues. Not my idea, but it is what it is. Can we talk about bikes now? I'm almost sorry I asked this lot for advice. That's funny....you're the same guy that posted about winterizing your VLX for the first time. That post popped up just after this one.

I don't control weather, but thanks for the criticism nonetheless. Being cautious about my bikes maintenance shouldn't be an excuse to lash outThat's funny....you're the same guy that posted about winterizing your VLX for the first time. That post popped up just after this one.

Yup, that must be it. Thanks for a constructive answer. Just because it isn't freezing right now in California doesn't mean I wasn't wondering how to protect my bike when it does.Just can't make up his mind.
Thank you! I appreciate the welcome, and the weather has been quite agreeable lately.enjoy your ride in the Sun. & welcome aboard.![]()
Thanks for the welcome and heads up!Welcome aboard Agent!
Enjoy the VLX, no matter what season you're preparing for and don't mind the growls from behind the curtain. There's a great bunch of folks on this forum and a LOT of beneficial info to be gained.
You get to know which dogs bark and then go back to sleep- then you just ride gleefully along like nothing happened. It's not personal. In fact, its not intentional. Many times, the ambiguity of the typed word creates intent where there was none. It's all good.
Be thankful for a "short winter" and let's see some pics of that VLX!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it!^^^ ... Yup! That and what happens on a thread stays on the thread.. So if we have a porr comuninununicater-er of the writtun wurd... Like ???Vito! (for instance - who is a terribly decent guy when you get to know him) .. We can all get along on the next thread..
So.. Like has been said! ..It's All Good!..
