Hello I am in the same boat after many years of not riding. I am a retired auto tech. and worked at a lot of dealerships where they use guys who do the Paintless Dent Repair. It works so well for dent removal and the paint is still perfect.
I saw a few You Tube videos about this and even some motorcycle gas tank repairs. It works fantastic. Check out PDR on You Tube.
