Hello folks,

Been finding myself here a lot since purchasing my Shadow, seemed about time to join up. The name’s Matt, from Wisconsin. Just started riding last year, found myself a 2000 VT750CD Shadow ACE Deluxe that I’ve been slowly fixing up, tuning etc. Mostly stock with some convenience accessories, been trying to keep it low key.

I hear y’all like photos, so here are some of those (hope I’ve inserted them correctly):

…and yes, I know the highway pegs are upside down. One of them is frozen up on me, so I had to reverse them, it’s a WIP.

Howdy Matt!

Good lookin' ride! Really like the custom pin stripping and feathers. Did you do that?
I did not do the pinstriping, but I'm sure as hell happy to have it there! I love the feathers as well. Handpainted with daggers, I'm told. You can really see a lot of detail on the feathers in person; I can't imagine trying to paint something like that. It wasn't the previous owner's work, either... I believe it must have been commissioned by the original owner, who only rode it 350 miles or so (!) in the 7ish years they had it (!?!).
