I know this is the wrong section of the forum, but still trying to get enough post. What is the best way to get burn marks off my nice new chrome pipes. I dropped my glove on them and now have a few burn marks. One of them is really dark.

i have had good luck with wd40 its good for removing tar also

I had a 3 inch nasty black burn on my brand new pipe, my husband used polishing compound. It came right off and did not scratch the pipe.

I use Mothers Chrome Polish. Works great!

easy off oven cleaner in the blue can. careful not to get it on the paint. spray it on, let it sit for a couple minutes, wipe it off.

oven cleaner works best - spray on let it work then wipe off
then clean them with wax or chrome polish
- of course make sure the pipes are cool b4 you do this
