While it's too cold too ride I have my "02 SS 750 up on the jack and stripped down to deatil and prep for spring which includes a new set of plugs. While pulling off the chrome covers on the head of the engine I noticed what looks like another plug wire!
So... is it another plug? Are there two plugs per cylinder? I was under the impression that I only needced to change one plug per cylinder, the obvious ones exposed to the outside of the top of the head.

Ron,

The shadows come with 2 plugs per cylinder...one on each side of the head. One is usually easily seen while the other is more hidden in the block...but both plug wires should be seen without removing covers.

Hope this helps.

If you buy your NGK plugs at an auto parts store, you might find them for half price of what the Honda dealer charges. That has been my experience.

I need to change my plugs, how difficult is it! To get to the ones you cant see? Also thinking about the iridium, are they worth the price?
