Hey yall just completed the motorcycle safety class and purchased a 2002 ACE. Have always wanted a bike but to this point have only ridden dirt bikes. Im a little intimidated but eager to learn. Looking forward to getting some tips and advise.

Welcome to the forum. Learn low speed handling because it will give you skill and confidence.

Some of the best advice ever. I recently invested in a "bag of tennis balls", cut a dozen of them in half, and use them for parking lot pylons for the practice sessions above. The "offset cone weave" and the "intersection u-turn" drills are the ones I use to continue to improve on the basics. If you have a "rat" bike that you're not afraid to suffer through a few drops with, that will help embolden you to develop the skills to carry over into bigger bike handling.
