Greetings! I've had this 97 shadow 600 for about a month now, and this is my second motorcycle after an 82 nighthawk 650. I am an intermediate level rider, and a beginner level mechanic (sold the nighthawk for chump change after it broke and I didn't know how to fix it, so I promised myself I'd keep this one for longer and fix it myself)

Cool little bobber you got there. With a little luck you won't have to have much mechanical ability to keep this thing on the road for a long time. Gas, oil, filters and air in the tires will usually get you a long way. Welcome!

Welcome to the forum.

Nice scoot you got there. Good starting point for you. The fender and seat look like they came from Blue Collar Bobbers. Here is the link....on the odd chance you might want to mod the bike a little more ;)
