Hi new to the site and have a little problem. I have a 85 shadow vt700c that when I put the bike in gear it does nothing. I hear the gears engage and all and it has a little pull to it, but i can let the clutch lever out all the way and the bike will not stall. After the bike warms up it will move better but will still rev. I have tried changing the master cylinder and also the lever and still the same thing.

I can put the bike in gear and it will roll just like its in nuetral but after it warms up it will stall and move better

It has a hydrolic clutch so I cant adjust it. Just not sure what to do now any advise would help a lot thanks.

With the bike up on it's stand -

1. Remove the left side plastic cover over the slave cylinder.
2. Remove the three screws holding the slave cylinder on.
3. Start the engine.
4. Shift into 1st gear.
5. Apply a little rear brake pressure to simulate a load.
6. Does the rear wheel turn - yes or no?
