Hello. I have a 2005 Sabre. Just installed Vance & Hines Longshots exhaust and the DynoJet kit. I opened the fuel mixture screws to the recommended setting (4.5 turns i believe) and the bike ran well but idle was just a tiny bit unsteady and there was a pop while shifting gears sometimes.

i backed the idle mix out one more turn, which improved the idle and seems to have gotten rid of the pops between gears, atleast 90%.

now it only pops if i play with the throttle while idling or rev it and let off quickly. is that anything to worry about? i tried another half turn out but couldn't tell a difference, and i dont want to richen the mixture too much. just wondering what's normal.

thanks in advance
