I grabbed a Shadow, started riding, then...life happened and all my plans fizzled. What began as a new life in sunny, hot Las Vegas turned into a cheerful, yet soggy life in Puyallup, Wa. Having a neck-related disability rendered me unable to ride long, far, or often, but, I managed to get my cervical spine upgraded to the new T-1000 stainless model. So, now I can foresee much more riding in my future. Can't wait to meet local members to chat and ride with when possible.
But, I'm currently having a serious misfire issue. New fuel and air filters, Only use Chevron premium with no alcohol added. Yet, even warmed up, the front cylinder tends to start going dead when I give it more than 1/4 throttle. If anyone is in my AO, give a shout. I'm in what they call the South Hill area.

I`m glad to see you have "upgraded your spine" ;)
Hopefully this will allow hours on end of enjoyment in the saddle without pain...
This is my prayer...

When mine started giving me problems as I increased throttle, it was because the diaphrams in the carb were worn and had holes in them, which allowed air to enter the closed system...
Hopefully your cure is less expensive than $110+ each for the diaphrams as mine cost this much...
However, the Honda Buck$ spent made it so I can enjoy my ACE :D

Good Luck,
Dennis

1. I actually grew up in Tacoma, but, fled for the desert for a minute.
2. Hi, yerownself, bd*.
3. Diaphragms look good. I'm thinking I'll put 52/128 jets in along with another "spring cleaning" and see if that helps. Kindafrustrating, doing the carbs over and over.
4. If anything is shiny around here, it's cuz it's wet.
