As indicated in the private message you got upon first logging in, this is part of the antispam protocol. Spambots will be stopped dead in their tracks by the moderators so you the forum member don't have to be exposed to porn, ponzi schemes, Viagra ads, real estate advertising, etc. What we have witnessed as well is those real live spammers can't be bothered with posting three threads so they don't bother so again you the forum member benefit again.
