Finally got a decent ride in yesterday. While looking the bike over after getting home I noticed motor oil on my right side cover. Turns out it came out of the air cleaner box. I know some oil in the air box is normal but what could cause there to be enough to leak past the cover seal and get on the bike? It's an 08 spirit c2 desnorkled with k&n air filter v&h short shot pipes stage 2 jet kit and 4 deg timing mod. Thanks for any help in advance!

Is sounds like want ever you did when you desnorkled it affected the Crankcase breather system.

Agreed, check your crankcase breather vent on the rear cylinder and make sure it's not pinched. I had oil shooting/dripping out of my exhaust after accidentally plugging my breather. A bit came out the intake as well like yours, but mostly mine blew into the exhaust. Very messy

All mods have been done for over a year with no problems until this spring... I will definitely check the breather hoses for spiders etc from winter storage
