Quite different yes; center is aluminium an the friction area is stainless; by the specs of Honda the EBC is ±1 mm thicker than the original but minimum thickness stamped on it is 1 mm thinner so no win no loose on that side. Rode nearly 10,000 with the EBC with EBC organic pads: no noises and braking is not different from stock.
How's it look on the bike? With Tapatalk I can't see your sig pic.

The rivets that join the 2 parts of the rotor give a little "sportier" look to the bike.
That does look good! When I did copy n paste with the part number had I seen a gold star lookin thing. I thought that's gonna look different. I like the one in your pic. BTW that's a gorgeous bike man!

Funny you thought that way too... I have a photo in my computer some where?.. that has my 77 ElCamino @ 177,777. almost 7. Tried for a good pick, but I was driving to work at the time. Some times you have to pay tribute to the mechanical things that get you through every day life with minimal maintenance.

Thank you @blue flames

I try that the numbers on the odometer don't reflects too much on the look of the bike; my plans are to keep it as long as health shall permit.

Maybe still a few rollover of the odometer LOL

I missed my photo, but I just rolled 40,000 km's on my ace. We were on our way to a hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary.

That's alot of miles!
Original engine mechanical components, or perhaps some Cam, Ring/Piston or Valve freshening over the miles?
Replaced engine at ±365,000 km in 2018; donor bike was showing 36,000 km now 116,000 on the clock. Less expensive to find a used engine than to rebuild one with such high mileage.

Love the added Voltmeter and Tach! :D
A much more balanced look and of course, rather vital information.

A project I plan to tackle while waiting-out our triple-digit summer heat here in PHX 🌵 😎

MoMo51 - Agree, that sure seems to be a much quicker, less hassle-free way to go
Hopefully I have a lot more miles to go before needing to cross that bridge! 🏍
Thanks - Kevin

I Missed 170.000 by 27 miles on my ride to town:(
Found two roundabouts and stayed on 20MPH several laps :D
I`ll get that other 27 this evening on my Sunset Cruise though,

Nothing special as a reading.
This is what was showing when I arrived to my first B.A.C.A. meeting :)

Yes, she finally turned over that 170,000 I`ve been talking about here lately...
WATCHED 69,999.9 roll over 70,000 as I rode to church this morning,
Dennis

Lets RIDE together on different roads today
