I've been contemplating whether or not if I want to try a different bike since my current bike (VLX) is the only bike I have ever ridden or owned. I had come to the conclusion that I really am satisfied with my current ride and have decided to just keep it and happily ride on. Today I was out shopping and decided to stop into a small bike shop here in town and this is the first bike inside the door.
It really stopped me in my tracks. 2011 Honda Fury. The lines of this bike are way cool! They have it priced at $7500 which I think is way too high but it sure did make me stop and look real hard. Beautiful bike.

It is a sharp looking bike isn't it? In fact it's the wallpaper on my desktop, but it's not the bike for me due to my size. I do appreciate the lines of it though...eye catching. It reminds me of a Victory 8-ball, or vice-versa. It's got that S-shaped swept curve from front to rear ...

RED bikes seem to have that effect on people

Why do you thin it's not right for you based on your size. I'm short and I was able to ride one with no problem and it was a good fit.

Well, I am on the other end of the spectrum. 6'6" tall and 300lbs. My sights are set on a Victory X-Country or a HD Street Glide or Road Glide. If I were to buy a Honda it would be an old school Valkyrie Interstate.
I did not sit on the bike however I'm 6' 1" and it looked like it would stretch me out.
I love the look of so many bikes, but most I don't love to ride. It looks like a real nice bike, and I might have bought it a few years ago, maybe.

I like its sister bike, this is a 2010 Honda Sabre.

I sat on one last summer and fell in love with how it felt! Maybe one day!

From the few I've spoken with that have the fury, I've learned it's a better sunday bike than a daily rider or long distant bike. But they are pretty.

I've been happy with my vlx for 9yrs, I've ridden a kaw 900, hd 1500, Yami 900, vtx. So I've tried a few. Vlx of mine needs to hit 100,000 miles before I'll start looking again.

These are the two that interest me, love there style and maybe one day...
I've sat on and ridden both, it'll be a hard decision which one to get... :D

Harley Softail Standard, and the Victory Hammer 8 Ball...

The new Furies and Sabres are beautiful bikes, I looked at them but the price was too much for me and as was mentioned it didn't look or feel like it would be as comfortable dayly rider as my Phantom, but I love the look. My son has been eyeing them also.
I know this will come as a surprise but I'm partial to the Victory's myself ;).

^^^ What he said :)
how is 7500$ too much for that bike?? That's a great deal. I'm pretty sure you can get it for 7000$ for that 2011...the Fury IS the reason why I got my motorcycle license...at the time that I was getting my bike, although I wanted the Fury, I didn't have that kind of cash.
The other thing is, getting the fury would be great, but they don't have saddle bags for them...so riding long distance isn't it's forte! Unfortunately. I'm still looking at it and debating really hard...I need to take it for a test ride to really see, but if I could get that bike and keep my Sabre...totally would. Use the Sabre for the long-distance stuff and the Fury for the fun in the sun ride ;-)
I just saw a new 2013 Sabre leftover on cycletrader for under $7100

KBB lists this bike at $6000 "trade in value" to $8000 full "retail value" so maybe it is priced within reason but still more than I want to pay for it.

Sweet looking bike and great price and in one of my wife and my favorite areas to visit when we lived back there!
Yes, the Sabre and Fury are very much alike. Looks like one I'd like to ride but don't know if it could be a every day rider but a fun ride!
