quick fork spring/oil question

Alright,

So, before I changed out my fork oil, the ride was bumpy as hell, alsmost uncontrollable at high speeds,I could actually move the fork stantion up and down about 3'' with my hand, all I could get a hold of quickly was some 15w, so I though, hey, That will have to do til I order my progressive springs.

so, having put the 15w oil in, without a issue, it now handles like a dream, ALTHOUGH, I feel alot of the road, its quite a hard ride..

I'm not going to let that faze me much, as soon as I can get a hold of some springs (In England) I'll be swapping them out, with the oil that comes in the kit.

so, the advice I want;

Can I use these on a 1998 VT1100 Spirit??

LINK TO EBAY ITEM

they measure
Length - 450mm
External Diameter - 33.90mm

Thanks.

I put progressive springs in my 2003 1100 spirit and they work great. Not the brand you just displayed though, I have no experience with those.

I used these: http://www.progressivesuspension.com/product/1465/fork-spring-kit

They appear to be similar. and you probably are wanting to limit shipping costs. You may want to look at the rear shocks if they are still stock and have a lot of miles on them. I used the 412 series on the site I listed.

Fixing the suspension was a huge upgrade on the motorcycle.
