I am looking to change out the rear fender and lights on my VT700. I found a complete rear fender off a 2004 VTX1300c, complete with all lights.

What I need to know is the width of the fender to see if will fit.
My current fender is 7" wide with a total of 8" between the bolt holes. I have a total working width of about 7-7 1/2"

Will this fender work for me?

found out the fender is 11.5" wide. Too wide. Oh well. Have to keep looking. I am still looking for a set of forward controls. I've started looking at fabing up my own.
